Description 
As a Certified Medical Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate coding of medical diagnoses, procedures, and services. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to review clinical documentation and translate it into universally recognized codes. This role is essential for maintaining precise medical records, facilitating accurate billing, and supporting critical decision-making processes within the healthcare system. 

Responsibilities 
Review and analyze clinical documents to assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
Ensure accuracy and completeness of coded information for billing and reporting purposes
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures when necessary.
Stay current with coding guidelines, regulations, and industry updates.
Participate in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Identify and report documentation and compliance issues to the appropriate stakeholders.

Qualifications 
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from a recognized institution. 
Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. 
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. 
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in coding. 
Effective communication skills for collaboration with healthcare providers.
