Responsibilities
Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) claims.
Ensure the accuracy of insurance information and resolve any discrepancies in patient coverage.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to confirm eligibility and coverage details.
Handle inquiries from patients and healthcare providers regarding insurance benefits and DME coverage.
Assist in the submission and follow-up of insurance claims to ensure timely processing and payment.
Provide support in generating reports and statistical summaries related to DME benefits and claims.
Qualifications
Proven experience in benefits verification, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of insurance verification procedures and Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
Proficiency in using benefits verification software and Microsoft Office Suite.
